Lalo Vilchez made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lalo Vilchez immediately put the ball in play. Pepo Orihuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rambo Ramírez having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match Twierdza Osowiec got a corner. Colo-Colo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pang Qiang Fan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pang Qiang Fan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colo-Colo's Rambo Ramírez did a great save. Jerzy Smolak made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Twierdza Osowiec's Billy Hendrickx. A sloppy throw-in by Billy Hendrickx in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colo-Colo's Lalo Vilchez. Twierdza Osowiec's Pepo Orihuela quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jerzy Smolak, made in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Rubén Martínez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx. Ricardo Hendrickx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal Başar in the 83rd minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Twierdza Osowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colo-Colo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
