Toader Radovan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Baradero. In the 7th minute Irinel Iorgovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Baradero's attentive Virgilio Geofredo managed to snatch the ball when Gheorghe Pintilie made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Baradero's John-Graham Lake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toader Radovan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 minutes Fc Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Bertran who took care of the corner kick. If John-Graham Lake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Elvio Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Radovan having to interfere. Toader Radovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Graham Lake in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Club Atlético Baradero got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Lander. The supporters of Club Atlético Baradero booed when Fc Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Ianculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, John-Graham Lake reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toader Radovan. The goal made the score 2-0. John-Graham Lake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Toader Radovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, John-Graham Lake made a precise shot to the right of Toader Radovan. Fc Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Club Atlético Baradero's John-Graham Lake in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Buzau's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Virgilio Geofredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Toader Radovan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute of the game Gheorghe Pintilie made a throw-in which Vlad Turceanu played forward. 72 minutes into the match, John-Graham Lake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toader Radovan. Fc Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John-Graham Lake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 78th play minutes John-Graham Lake shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Toader Radovan and just under the crossbar into goal. After 83 minutes of play, Club Atlético Baradero's Jorge Lander made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toader Radovan was left in no man's land by his defense there! John-Graham Lake kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. John-Graham Lake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toader Radovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Graham Lake, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, John-Graham Lake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Baradero's supporters rose to their feet, but John-Graham Lake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Radovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atlético Baradero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
