Roman Serdyuk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Emílio Zanette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the last second Emílio Zanette throw himself and got hold of the ball when Roman Serdyuk in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Roman Serdyuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, Krasnodar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Demyanenko to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Santos FC da ZL got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Urbano. 16 minutes into the match, Santos FC da ZL's goalkeeper Emílio Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Serdyuk. Roman Serdyuk scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio Zanette, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Krasnodar FC's Emílio Zanette threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gennadiy Demyanenko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Urbano in the 28th minute of play forced Krasnodar FC's goalkeeper Oriche Vega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gennadiy Demyanenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 30 in the game by Roman Serdyuk from a close distance when the talented Emílio Zanette managed to make a qualified save. Santos FC da ZL's players were relieved. In the 30th minute, Dorival Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Santos FC da ZL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Roman Serdyuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Aganin in the 36th minute. Santos FC da ZL's Emílio Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Santos FC da ZL from getting a goal against them. When Gennadiy Demyanenko came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Krasnodar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennadiy Demyanenko couldn't finish the play. Gennadiy Demyanenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito Salgado to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gennadiy Demyanenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Santos FC da ZL's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Demyanenko came free, but Emílio Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gennadiy Demyanenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Zanette was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gennadiy Demyanenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krasnodar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gennadiy Demyanenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Gennadiy Demyanenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Gennadiy Demyanenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Zanette. Santos FC da ZL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gennadiy Demyanenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Emílio Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Serdyuk in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Zanette saved Santos FC da ZL from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Santos FC da ZL's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Demyanenko came free, but Emílio Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Malafeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Krasnodar FC's Gennadiy Demyanenko made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emílio Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gennadiy Demyanenko's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Emílio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko in the 83rd minute of play. Krasnodar FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Santos FC da ZL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonid Malafeev took the corner. Emílio Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Serdyuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Santos FC da ZL's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Demyanenko came free, but Emílio Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
