Jeremy Blomme made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Daniel Podwojski sent off a good shot on target. Nacional Potosí's Jeremy Blomme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional Potosí from getting a goal against them. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Jeffers in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Carballo. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Filinto Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Blomme came out of the goal and Filinto Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Beets in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Nacional Potosí got a corner. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Itzaina Abastas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wyatt Jeffers in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Podwojski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jeremy Blomme made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Giöck in the 36th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Jeremy Blomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Podwojski came free, but Jeremy Blomme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Tomas Abello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremy Blomme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Giöck in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Tomas Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Nacional Potosí players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
