With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip McNamara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute of the match Made in Paraguay got a corner. Wyoming Cowboys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iratxo Acosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Made in Paraguay's Mariano Oruña to a score. 6-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin McNamara made a kick off. Mariano Oruña hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Philip McNamara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
