Progresul Bucuresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Seţeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute of the match, Emil Vlădoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Turabi Keskinel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the game, Damian Miu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progresul Bucuresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baykan FK the free kick. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Baykan FK. Ion Dragnea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serter Candemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Baykan FK booed when Progresul Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Ţeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Azim Heybetli from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Ion Dragnea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tiberiu Seţeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Dragnea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Akdemirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Ali Kaan Akdemirci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ion Dragnea made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mustafa Cumhur Hükümran sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Baykan FK's Azim Heybetli got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bogdan Furdui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresul Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Furdui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turabi Keskinel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Progresul Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Șeitan to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Ali Kaan Akdemirci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ion Dragnea. The goal made the score 0-3. 89 minutes into the match, Emil Vlădoiu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Baykan FK's Turabi Keskinel. Turabi Keskinel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bogdan Furdui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
