Christoph Neumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Grecu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Felix Ernst made a precise shot to the right of Marius Tutuianu. Avantul Sighiartau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Christoph Neumann made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Niculae Mugur sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Andrei Ghionescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Neumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Niculae Mugur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Overdrive's goal looked a bit too open when Cazimir Grecu came free, but Christoph Neumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mihăiţă Guriță managed to get in a good position for a shot.
