Emilio Primavera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Marius Tutuianu made a huge save. When Niculae Mugur came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Avantul Sighiartau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Mugur couldn't finish the play. After 4 played minutes Building got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Primavera. Avantul Sighiartau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Federico Lopez scored to the left of an out of position Marius Tutuianu, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio De Palma during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Building was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio De Palma to maneuver through the defense. Cazimir Grecu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Damiani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cazimir Grecu ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Building booed when Avantul Sighiartau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Corvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Emilio Primavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Tutuianu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Iulian Pietreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Primavera in the 26th minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Building got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Guerrini. It was beautiful to see Avantul Sighiartau's Iulian Pietreanu in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Gava in the 36th minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Avantul Sighiartau from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Building's zone, Niculae Mugur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercole Damiani came out of the goal and Niculae Mugur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iulian Pietreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Damiani having to make a save. Building's Ercole Damiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Pietreanu in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Lopez to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Federico Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Tutuianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute Cazimir Grecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Damiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Massaro in the 55th minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Avantul Sighiartau's Cazimir Grecu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ercole Damiani. Ercole Damiani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 63 minutes into the game, Iulian Pietreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avantul Sighiartau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Building the free kick. A collision led to Avantul Sighiartau getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Iulian Pietreanu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrei Ghionescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ercole Damiani. That made the score 2-2 in the 67 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Grecu in the 70th minute of play forced Building's goalkeeper Ercole Damiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Cazimir Grecu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avantul Sighiartau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Grecu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Iulian Pietreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Manuel Zbora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avantul Sighiartau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Zbora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cazimir Grecu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Damiani having to make a save. Building's Ercole Damiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Building from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Panait Corvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avantul Sighiartau's supporters rose to their feet, but Panait Corvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Damiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Biagio Gava cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Marius Tutuianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Emilio Primavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Tutuianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Tutuianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Lopez in the 92nd minute of the match. Niculae Mugur struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ercole Damiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avantul Sighiartau. The Building support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
