The supporters of JAYET booed when Merlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rob Boswell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Urbano having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, JAYET's goalkeeper Higinio Llanos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Domingues. Higinio Llanos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Domingues in the 26th minute. Patrick Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Ernst's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Emanuel Lindsten notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Merlin's Patrick Urbano. The wind increased when Elias Ernst made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as JAYET's James McElroy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Urbano. That made the score 1-5 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, James McElroy made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Urbano. Merlin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Ernst got free with Patrick Urbano in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Higinio Llanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Luiz Fabiano Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Llanos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Marquez's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. JAYET's Emanuel Lindsten got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Elias Ernst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Patrick Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Urbano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Lefler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 90 minute of play.
