In the 5th minute, Emil Pancu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avantul Sighiartau's Emil Pancu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Marius Tutuianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubaul Daşdıyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Emil Pancu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes MUGAN FK got a freekick which was hit by Xalid Ağakärimov. 16 minutes into the match, Elman Mälikov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marius Tutuianu, 1-0. Marius Tutuianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elşän Abduläzov went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Avantul Sighiartau from getting a goal against them. Avantul Sighiartau were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after MUGAN FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cazimir Grecu took the corner. After 30 played minutes Avantul Sighiartau got a freekick which was hit by Anton Tunaru. MUGAN FK's Färzäli Äsädov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Grecu in the 39th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Ehsan Bağiyev put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in MUGAN FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Cazimir Grecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Färzäli Äsädov having to interfere. Färzäli Äsädov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Grecu in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Elşän Abduläzov made the kick off in the second half. Andrei Ghionescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Avantul Sighiartau's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 51st minute, Cazimir Grecu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Färzäli Äsädov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in MUGAN FK's zone, Niculae Mugur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Färzäli Äsädov came out of the goal and Niculae Mugur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Xalid Ağakärimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes MUGAN FK got a freekick which was hit by Elşän Abduläzov. Färzäli Äsädov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Ghionescu in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MUGAN FK's Elman Mälikov got a free kick in the 64th minute. Niculae Mugur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Andrei Ghionescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Färzäli Äsädov. MUGAN FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Ghionescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 72 played minutes MUGAN FK got a freekick which was hit by Älif Ähmädov. Emil Pancu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Avantul Sighiartau's Andrei Ghionescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Färzäli Äsädov. That made the score 2-4 after 77 minutes of play. MUGAN FK's Färzäli Äsädov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Ghionescu in the 82nd minute of play. Niculae Mugur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Avantul Sighiartau got a freekick which was hit by Emil Pancu. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ibrahim Fätäliyev managed to get in a good position for a shot. MUGAN FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibrahim Fätäliyev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Tutuianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Färman Äliyev hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to MUGAN FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rauf Cabbarov hit a great ball. Färzäli Äsädov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Ghionescu in the 91st minute of play. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elşän Abduläzov in the 94th minute of play. The MUGAN FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Avantul Sighiartau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
