Antonio Lefler's late challenge caught a Overdrive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Lefler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Antonio Lefler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes, Jens-Erik Mörsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Overdrive and the JAYET players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Overdrive getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jens-Erik Mörsch hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Ivan Gallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted von Rumohr kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Elias Ernst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overdrive's Christoph Neumann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Lindsten in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoph Neumann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22ndth minute of the game Elias Ernst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Overdrive's Christoph Neumann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christoph Neumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Boswell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raik Kunze during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raik Kunze kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Ernst in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoph Neumann saved Overdrive from getting behind. Elias Ernst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christoph Neumann having to make a save. 33 minutes into the game, James McElroy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christoph Neumann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Lindsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Christoph Neumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Overdrive's Peter Wald got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Rob Boswell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JAYET's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Boswell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Ernst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Antonio Lefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Neumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ted von Rumohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 64th minute of the match Antonio Lefler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antonio Lefler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Higinio Llanos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Ernst's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 79th minute, Gabriel Leibold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, JAYET's Elias Ernst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoph Neumann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 89 minutes into the match, Overdrive's goalkeeper Christoph Neumann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Boswell. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Lindsten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Overdrive booed when JAYET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Ernst didn't get a good kick on the ball.
