But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Mugur couldn't finish the play. Andrei Ghionescu struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Turabi Keskinel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avantul Sighiartau. Marius Tutuianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serter Candemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Tutuianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kaan Akdemirci in the 12th minute of play. When Mihăiţă Guriță fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avantul Sighiartau's protests and gave Mihăiţă Guriță a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Avantul Sighiartau got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Guriță. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Başdemir in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Başdemir in the 24th minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Pancu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Andrei Ghionescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Turabi Keskinel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Pancu in the 34th minute of play. Mustafa Cumhur Hükümran charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Cumhur Hükümran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Hükümran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Başdemir in the 42nd minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Baykan FK booed when Avantul Sighiartau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Pancu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Avantul Sighiartau's Emil Pancu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Başdemir in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Grecu to strike the kick off in the second half. Niculae Mugur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Turabi Keskinel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cazimir Grecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avantul Sighiartau's Marius Tutuianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azim Heybetli in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Niculae Mugur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sungur Şirvan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Ghionescu in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turabi Keskinel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Avantul Sighiartau's Panait Corvin got a free kick in the 76th minute. Turabi Keskinel stood somewhat misplaced when Cazimir Grecu came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 78 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serter Candemir in the 86th minute of play forced Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Baykan FK got a freekick which was hit by Serter Candemir. Niculae Mugur struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Turabi Keskinel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avantul Sighiartau. After a defensive mix-up in Baykan FK's zone, Cazimir Grecu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turabi Keskinel came out of the goal and Cazimir Grecu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Avantul Sighiartau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Baykan FK.
