After 2 played minutes Progresul Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Furdui. 3 minutes into the match, Progresul Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Arnalt Comas came free, but Ion Dragnea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Furdui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Jeremias Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Emanuel Marina fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresul Bucuresti's protests and gave Emanuel Marina a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Progresul Bucuresti getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Emanuel Marina hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Furdui during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bogdan Furdui hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match César Lagunas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ion Dragnea skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Emil Vlădoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Costa. El Paso AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Vlădoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ezequiel Echeto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ion Dragnea having to make a save. Emil Ţeica hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ion Dragnea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tato Torrent went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jeremias Costa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tiberiu Seţeanu sent off a good shot on target. Ion Dragnea came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by El Paso AD's Arnalt Comas. But to his dismay, Arnalt Comas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Bucuresti's zone, Tato Torrent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Dragnea came out of the goal and Tato Torrent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ion Dragnea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, El Paso AD's Jeremias Costa got control of the ball when Bogdan Furdui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Dragnea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Echeto in the 37th minute of play. Ion Dragnea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnalt Comas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Echeto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Paso AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresul Bucuresti the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnalt Comas in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Dragnea saved Progresul Bucuresti from getting behind. A collision led to Progresul Bucuresti getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Emil Ţeica hit a great ball. The Progresul Bucuresti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Paso AD were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Vlădoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes El Paso AD got a freekick which was hit by César Lagunas. Bogdan Furdui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jeremias Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Dragnea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Echeto in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes of play El Paso AD's Ezequiel Echeto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 61 played minutes El Paso AD got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Echeto. Emil Vlădoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Ţeica kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Arnalt Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnalt Comas in the 70th minute of play forced Progresul Bucuresti's goalkeeper Ion Dragnea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tato Torrent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Arnalt Comas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Dragnea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Seţeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Costa having to interfere. When Inguma Quintero came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the El Paso AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inguma Quintero couldn't finish the play. If Arnalt Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Dragnea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnalt Comas's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Emil Ţeica kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as El Paso AD's Inguma Quintero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ion Dragnea. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. Progresul Bucuresti's Ion Dragnea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnalt Comas in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Tato Torrent recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ion Dragnea. Tato Torrent showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. A collision led to El Paso AD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tato Torrent hit a great ball. When Emil Vlădoiu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresul Bucuresti's protests and gave Emil Vlădoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Vlădoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Paso AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
