The audience thought a goal was coming when Xalid Ağakärimov got free with Higinio Llanos in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, MUGAN FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elman Mälikov to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match, Elman Mälikov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Llanos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th minute Elias Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färzäli Äsädov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elşän Abduläzov in the 19th minute of play forced JAYET's goalkeeper Higinio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match MUGAN FK got a corner. JAYET's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ibrahim Fätäliyev ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MUGAN FK's corner Ibrahim Fätäliyev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Higinio Llanos quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, MUGAN FK's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Ernst came free, but Färzäli Äsädov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elias Ernst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubaul Daşdıyev in the 37th minute of play forced JAYET's goalkeeper Higinio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Färzäli Äsädov came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by JAYET's Elias Ernst. But to his dismay, Elias Ernst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Antonio Lefler notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MUGAN FK's Färzäli Äsädov. Färzäli Äsädov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubaul Daşdıyev made a kick off. Rob Boswell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Gallo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Gallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, JAYET's Ivan Gallo got a free kick in the 57th minute. JAYET's Elias Ernst got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Elias Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färzäli Äsädov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Elias Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot. JAYET's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Ernst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Färzäli Äsädov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MUGAN FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Elias Ernst scored to the left of an out of position Färzäli Äsädov, making the score, 1-4. 86 minutes into the match, JAYET's goal looked a bit too open when Elşän Abduläzov came free, but Higinio Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Elias Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JAYET's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Ernst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czeslaw Biskupiak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ivan Gallo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Rubaul Daşdıyev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUGAN FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubaul Daşdıyev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The JAYET players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
