In the 14th minute Luiz Fabiano Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Neumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Marquez in the 16th minute of play forced Overdrive's goalkeeper Christoph Neumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Overdrive's Felix Ernst dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Overdrive's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Domingues came free, but Christoph Neumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Vítor Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 39th match minute, Overdrive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted von Rumohr to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Délio do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoph Neumann was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, Merlin's Luiz Fabiano Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoph Neumann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christoph Neumann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a little luck, Overdrive's Christoph Neumann got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Délio do Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christoph Neumann. The goal made the score 1-4. Overdrive's Christoph Neumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio do Vale in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Luiz Fabiano Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Neumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Overdrive's Egon Bar got a free kick in the 79th minute.
