In the 15th minute Biagio Gava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Di Giacomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Building's Federico Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Comunardo Di Giacomo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Madaio in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ercole Damiani saved Building from getting behind. A collision led to Building getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emilio Primavera hit a great ball. The supporters of Building booed when Dubai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Fantozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Emilio Primavera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Comunardo Di Giacomo. The goal made the score 2-0. Ercole Damiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Madaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Madaio to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Federico Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Comunardo Di Giacomo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Emilio Primavera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Comunardo Di Giacomo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alvise Donato hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Emilio Primavera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Gava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Primavera struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Comunardo Di Giacomo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Building. In the 76th match minute, Dubai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Scirea to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Scirea during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dave Scirea hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Building's Fabio De Palma managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alessandro Bassi in the 87 minute of the game. Comunardo Di Giacomo had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Alvise Borgatello's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Building's Alvise Borgatello after 95 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Dubai FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 5-0.
