Building's Ercole Damiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Building from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Massaro during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Building's Dino Massaro got a free kick in the 7th minute. Merlin's Luiz Fabiano Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dino Massaro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Primavera in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Urbano saved Merlin from getting behind. Patrick Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Massaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Primavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ercole Damiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio do Vale in the 23rd minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ercole Damiani made a huge save. After some careless play in the Merlin defense, Federico Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Urbano. The Merlin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Urbano should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fabiano Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ercole Damiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Emilio Primavera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Urbano. Merlin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Primavera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Patrick Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Lopez in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Building's goal looked a bit too open when Délio do Vale came free, but Ercole Damiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Domingues took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ercole Damiani to make any attempt to save it.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio do Vale was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gláuber Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Primavera in the 53rd minute. Emilio Primavera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Patrick Urbano made a huge save. In the 58th minute Federico Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Damiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Patrick Urbano came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Building's Emilio Primavera. But to his dismay, Emilio Primavera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, Building's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Domingues came free, but Ercole Damiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Merlin's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Lopez came free, but Patrick Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Federico Lopez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Urbano. The goal made the score 2-4. Patrick Urbano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Biagio Gava showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 76 minute of play. Biagio Gava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Urbano having to interfere. Patrick Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Lopez's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Patrick Urbano made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dino Massaro sent off a good shot on target. Dino Massaro in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Urbano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Délio do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ercole Damiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Biagio Gava managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Building's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Gava was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Building walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
