When Pedro Lima fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tentugal FC's protests and gave Pedro Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Felix Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overdrive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Ernst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Ernst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Danilo Viveiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Ernst might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Viveiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Ernst ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Ernst kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Danilo Viveiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Ernst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

During the 67th minute of the match Theo Altmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Theo Altmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Theo Altmann hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Braga in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoph Neumann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felix Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overdrive's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Ernst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Viveiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes, Tentugal FC's Jairo Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christoph Neumann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tentugal FC reached it. Danilo Viveiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Wessel went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Christoph Neumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Lima in the 81st minute of play. David Curado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoph Neumann having to interfere. Felix Ernst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Danilo Viveiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Ernst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Overdrive eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
