Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Nisio in the 12th minute of play. Ruperto Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Rafael Nisio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendex fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rafael Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Askstedt having to interfere. Rafael Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nisio in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Nisio in the 38th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pendex's Rafael Nisio in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Savage Hippo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Keuppens to maneuver through the defense. If Kim Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Nisio to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Nayely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the game Agatas Alkauskas made a throw-in which Vakaris Daujotas played forward. Ruperto Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Pilipavičius in the 61st minute of the match. Rafael Nisio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Pendex's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gogo Crescencio in the 65th minute. The corner led Pendex's Gogo Crescencio to fire away a dangerous shot which Bengt-Arne Askstedt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agatas Alkauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pendex made a substitution. Saul Bembe replaced Rafael Nisio. Ruperto Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas in the 73rd minute of the match. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Lekberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Nayely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Inguma in the 94th minute of the match. The throw-in from Christer Alström in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius.

The Savage Hippo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pendex's performance. The match ended with a win for Pendex.
