The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignacio Vidanes was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Roberto Lopes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Lopes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bizarrockzs FC's Ignacio Vidanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 9th minute of play. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samet Özsahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Vidanes. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samet Özsahin in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Bizarrockzs FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Samet Özsahin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Özsahin in the 25th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bizarrockzs FC's Ignacio Vidanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bizarrockzs FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Özsahin in the 45th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samet Özsahin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandro Soffia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Chico Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Vidanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Samet Özsahin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bizarrockzs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIPLOMATA FC PAB the free kick. After 56 played minutes Bizarrockzs FC got a freekick which was hit by Samet Özsahin. In the 63rd minute, Christian Carrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samet Özsahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samet Özsahin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Chico Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bizarrockzs FC. Bizarrockzs FC's Ignacio Vidanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Bizarrockzs FC's Samet Özsahin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Olivier Gilg hit a great ball. Wilton do Valle hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Chico Donato came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Bizarrockzs FC's Samet Özsahin. But to his dismay, Samet Özsahin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bizarrockzs FC's Juan Carlos Almada was substituted for Samet Özsahin. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes started the play with the initial kick off. Bizarrockzs FC's Ignacio Vidanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save Bizarrockzs FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Ignacio Vidanes managed to avoid a goal in the 101stth minute, when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Almada in the 103rd minute of play. Eliézer Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 104th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliézer Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 104 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Alvarenga. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Juan Carlos Almada did a quick kick off. 118 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Carlos Almada. When the match had gone on for 118 minutes, Juan Carlos Almada took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Chico Donato to make any attempt to save it.
