Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Xiao Ting Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rei Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rei Pelé scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xiao Ting Yang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 邱雄夕 kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Montes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rei Pelé's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xiao Ting Yang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Xiao Ting Yang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rei Pelé went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xiao Ting Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rei Pelé in the 59th minute of play. Jairo Montes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Yashin having to make a save.
