The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Skallagrimur got a freekick which was hit by Skúta Vilhjálmsson. When Blagoy Gyulemetov came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Imperio fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blagoy Gyulemetov couldn't finish the play. Imperio fc's Vicente Bernedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Imperio fc from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Blagoy Gyulemetov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blagoy Gyulemetov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marek Wielopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Emil Pilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Bernedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Bernedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Pilarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Skallagrimur's Emil Pilarski in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imperio fc's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Emil Pilarski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Bernedo. Filippus Þorsteinsson scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Bernedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Skallagrimur getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Filippus Þorsteinsson hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skallagrimur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Imperio fc a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonas Camacho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skallagrimur's Marek Wielopolski. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blagoy Gyulemetov in the 41st minute of play forced Skallagrimur's goalkeeper Marek Wielopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imperio fc's Vicente Bernedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Imperio fc from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cankut Ongu was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Bernedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Godsk, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Imperio fc's Vicente Bernedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Pilarski in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Skallagrimur got a corner. Imperio fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timofey Melnikov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vicente Bernedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timofey Melnikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filippus Þorsteinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Bernedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Pilarski in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Cyryl Filanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Blagoy Gyulemetov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blagoy Gyulemetov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marek Wielopolski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marek Wielopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blagoy Gyulemetov in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio fc's goalkeeper Vicente Bernedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blagoy Gyulemetov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Wielopolski having to interfere. Cankut Ongu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Wielopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blagoy Gyulemetov in the 85th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imperio fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skallagrimur.
