Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Basualdo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geofredo Fox prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atahan Durdu in the 12th minute of play. Geofredo Fox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Lucas Alwege recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermann Hesse. Lucas Alwege showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 25th minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geofredo Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Basualdo came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes North Port UTD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Kaczor who took care of the corner kick. Cleto Trasagua hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lucas Alwege's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermann Hesse was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 42 minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Alwege who took care of the corner kick. Onuralp Ülküm hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Basualdo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Araoz Solanos came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save North Port UTD from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Kaczor in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Nils Gielis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox did a great save. Onuralp Ülküm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Hesse having to interfere. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atahan Durdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Tibor Nyilasi was substituted for Bartolo Basualdo. Geofredo Fox made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibor Nyilasi in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Nyilasi in the 67th minute of play forced North Port UTD's goalkeeper Geofredo Fox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tibor Nyilasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibor Nyilasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geofredo Fox breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Tibor Nyilasi put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Geofredo Fox. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Popolizio FBC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
