Jostein Sønsteby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Stübner in the 13th minute of the match. Philipp Schmidhuber hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Humberto Lute scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Udo Möllenstädt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Heiligenboom's Celsinho Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Udo Möllenstädt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pit Mögles short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Jostein Sønsteby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jostein Sønsteby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pit Mögle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Udo Möllenstädt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Lute in the 34th minute of play. Jostein Sønsteby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pit Mögle in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Heiligenboom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falco Staal to maneuver through the defense. Jostein Sønsteby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Stübner, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pit Mögle came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jostein Sønsteby could save by the left post. Philipp Schmidhuber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Heiligenboom got a freekick which was hit by Alex Knopper. Maximilian Stübner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jostein Sønsteby made a huge save. The Germany11 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heiligenboom were winning 0-3.

Jostein Sønsteby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Maximilian Stübner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jostein Sønsteby was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Jostein Sønsteby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pit Mögle in the 74th minute of play. But to his dismay, Falko Keck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4.
