PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Lore in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the game Mátyás Bánhegyi made a throw-in which Amadeo Perico played forward. Rodrigo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Gajewski in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Rodrigo Beliran got control of the ball when Jacinto de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Leoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Gajewski went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Olgierd Gajewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes PIRATAS TFP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Leoni who took care of the corner kick. Rodrigo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mátyás Bánhegyi hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes, Quique Jara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRATAS TFP and the ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Jara to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Eliézer Ramos threw the ball into play from the sideline. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Bilgin Erol quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dé Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antônio Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Schmermbeck in the 96th minute.
