Richard Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Douglas Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Perez in the 9th minute of the match. Roger de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Pedro Luís Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Luís Porto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Yan Penha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger de Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horácio Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Roger de Souza made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Roger de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Pereira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo da Rocha in the 24th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Roger de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo da Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger de Souza came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo da Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diego Perez came free, but Douglas Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Rodrigo Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Mendonça to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Alberto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horácio Pereira scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo da Rocha in the 63rd minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Roger de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diego Perez made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richard Alcântara hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Pereira in the 71st minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Roger de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Cláudio Couto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were furious when André Luís de Almeida was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Penha couldn't finish the play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Pereira in the 79th minute of play. If Horácio Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Diogo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SORRISO E. C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
