Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raúl Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger de Souza having to interfere. Roger de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Trevisan in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Roger Melo rounded Morro Grande E.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 26th minute, Diogo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Tepedino, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the game, André Luís de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. André Luís de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Willian Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis Lara in the 36th minute. Cristian Duarte hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. André Luís de Almeida was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute, André Luís de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Duarte made a kick off. Raúl Maia hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Richard Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Raúl Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Ernani Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
