Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Perez made the kick off which started today's match. Roger de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diogo Barros in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Luiz Fábio Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Lino Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Jeremias Vale successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Imbituba - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diogo Barros took the corner. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diogo Barros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Vale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Roger Melo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Melo couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Perez. Roger de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Hermes's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Luiz Fábio Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imbituba - FSCMZ's protests and gave Luiz Fábio Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. Roger de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Joélson Madureira got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lino Souto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson Madureira to make the kick off. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Madureira in the 51st minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Luiz Fábio Hermes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Gustavo Falcão got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Luiz Fábio Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Clemente Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Galvão. Roger de Souza came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Diguinho Magalhães. But to his dismay, Diguinho Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Melo in the 92nd minute of play. The Imbituba - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Imbituba - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
