The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Gogo Fernendo a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Fernendo. Diego Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Esdras having to interfere. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Adan Lorien sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza didn't even have to move. Diego Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clemente Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Clemente Teles got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Gomesano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adan Lorien charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Lorien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Régis Lara replaced Pedro Luís Porto. Cayetano Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Melo in the 68th minute of play. André Luís de Almeida hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Amadeo Gomesano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the De Boedo Vengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Gomesano couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger Melo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Esdras. Cayetano Esdras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Roger Melo scored 0-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Esdras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The De Boedo Vengo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
