Roger de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Perez during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Zuera Never End MZC's Faas Marsal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Barros. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Diego Perez hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, Zuera Never End MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Roger de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Duda Arce came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Zuera Never End MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Arce couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 57th minute, Zuera Never End MZC's Renato Guimarães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Oscar Prestes had several of the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Roger de Souza as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Perez in the 66th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Faas Marsal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuera Never End MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Cássio Galvão hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Roger de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Duda Arce scored to the left of an out of position Roger de Souza, making the score, 0-8.
