Ruben Montez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bonifaco Montoya made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Jaime Egaña. In the 12th minute, Bonifaco Montoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Damasco in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claes Fender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Avram Popoiu made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Damasco came free, but Ruben Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Valentin Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Guillem Bugedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Montez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's attentive Chip Potterton managed to snatch the ball when Guillem Bugedo made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Damasco came free, but Ruben Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hala Madrid Iraki FC defense, Aldo Damasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Montez. The Hala Madrid Iraki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Montez should have stopped the shot. Sten Paulin made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Jaime Egaña. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claes Fender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avram Popoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Fender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Fender in the 55th minute of play. Ruben Montez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Corte's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ruben Montez came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Roman Corte. But to his dismay, Roman Corte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 61st minute of the match, Roman Corte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruben Montez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd match minute, Deportivo Damasco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillem Bugedo to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Terciero Cobo was substituted for Montxo Cabero. In the 64th match minute, Deportivo Damasco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillem Bugedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rdth minute of the game Roman Corte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Vladimir Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiadoro Cores got free with Ruben Montez in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Vladimir Couto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Montez. Ruben Montez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Damasco F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hala Madrid Iraki FC.
