Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Radu Borza got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Chevaliers FC's Fabian Lucescu got control of the ball when José Bomba tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, José Bomba took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fabian Lucescu to make any attempt to save it. After 20 minutes Chevaliers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Tudor who took care of the corner kick. Fabian Lucescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Secco in the 21st minute. When José Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Bomba couldn't finish the play. Fabian Lucescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Bomba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. José Bomba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Lucescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute, José Bomba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Radu Borza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Péter Mészáros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Ţopescu's late challenge caught a F.C. Paços de Ferreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Ţopescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chevaliers FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Augustin Ţopescu hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Fabian Lucescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Bomba. After a rather tough play, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Inácio Secco got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Bomba to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Emin Sağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Lucescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emin Sağan in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when Chevaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Bogrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Luka Modrić was substituted for Inácio Secco. After 69 played minutes Chevaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Bogrea. In the 70th minute José Bomba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Lucescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Radu Borza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Mészáros was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Luka Modrić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Lucescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Bomba scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Lucescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Lucescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Bomba, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. José Bomba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Lucescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. F.C. Paços de Ferreira walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
