In the 9th minute Koti Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kristian Oswald hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Almir Lago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Jarstein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emilio Melzer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Wilhelm Nienhaus came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Nienhaus couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak got control of the ball when Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigel Elenescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 23rd minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak got control of the ball when Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Thunderstorm Riders defense, Kristian Oswald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkadiusz Barciniak. The Thunderstorm Riders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkadiusz Barciniak should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 63rd minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 65th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Elenescu. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Lüder Roppel replaced Ziemowit Tscherner. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koti Kot got free with Rune Jarstein in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Arkadiusz Barciniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Barciniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Jarstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Houseman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 87th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Lago to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Nienhaus took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Barciniak. Arkadiusz Barciniak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Lothar Heber's late challenge caught a Thunderstorm Riders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lothar Heber helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lothar Heber got a free kick in the 98th minute. Jerzy Mielak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rune Jarstein. Hertha 1969's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hertha 1969 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thunderstorm Riders for a fine match.
