In the 9th minute Desiderio Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartmut Klein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1989 Blxsk's Eriberto Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Argina in the 14th minute of play. Eriberto Honesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Xing Qi in the 41st minute of play. Desiderio Ostargi had several of the Hannover Reds's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Hartmut Klein as he didn't even see the shot coming. Melchor Dorio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Lei Xiang Rong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Honesto. 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Argina to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Voss came free, but Eriberto Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Millano couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Voss during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 95 minutes, Celestino Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1989 Blxsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hannover Reds players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 1989 Blxsk.
