JKs Talanger's Mihăiţă Vâtcu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sokratis Kotsonis, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Walter Wallander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Ulrik Söderlund made a precise shot to the right of Walter Wallander. JKs Talanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 17thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petter Skarkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Wallander having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ali Berkant Mukremin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Protegéerna were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petter Skarkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Wallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 59th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Wallander made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Petter Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Xu Yi Chong hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Yi Chong to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, 陶远星 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bolo Skjold. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bolo Skjold should have stopped the shot. Walter Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 72nd minute of play. Protegéerna's Arman Lingren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yaser Pakel, made in the 77th minute of the game. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the final whistle sounded Protegéerna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JKs Talanger.
