The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bolo Skjold should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 11th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Örjan Björk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bolo Skjold. Örjan Björk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 18 minutes in the game Sokratis Kotsonis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Petter Skarkman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 23rd minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Victor Anselius got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 35th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Kotsonis to maneuver through the defense. Åsbro Flåsegutter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alf-Inge Sørum in the 37th minute. It was a well-played corner which Zdzislaw Barniszke managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 39th minute of play. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 42nd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute Ulrik Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Björk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bolo Skjold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Protegéerna's goalie and right to Örjan Björk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Protegéerna's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Björk in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bolo Skjold saved Protegéerna from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Örjan Björk put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bolo Skjold. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Rickard Vallander was substituted for Stig Bäckman. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Michalski in the 87th minute of play. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Michalski in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Åsbro Flåsegutter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Protegéerna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
