The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierre Verdonckt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algitas Girkantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Pierre Verdonckt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Einaras Mažeika went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute, Einaras Mažeika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9th play minutes Algitas Girkantas shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Pierre Verdonckt and just under the crossbar into goal. 12 minutes into the match, Not Today's goalkeeper Pierre Verdonckt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virginijus Balčaitis. Şenel Hükümran charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şenel Hükümran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Not Today's Şenel Hükümran got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Absoliut's Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre Verdonckt was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Talip İribaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Not Today's supporters rose to their feet, but Talip İribaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robertas Sabaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Agatas Didžiulis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Pierre Verdonckt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Absoliut. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Verdonckt. Pierre Verdonckt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Not Today's zone, Algitas Girkantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Verdonckt came out of the goal and Algitas Girkantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt got control of the ball when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute Absoliut were awarded a corner. Jotautas Bulzgis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jotautas Bulzgis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt did a great save. Çakabey Tecimer hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Pierre Verdonckt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Pierre Verdonckt however easily saved by the left post.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cumali Tekgül stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Verdonckt having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pierre Verdonckt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Absoliut fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Absoliut's Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64th play minutes Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Pierre Verdonckt and just under the crossbar into goal. Absoliut's Henrikas Stulpinas was substituted for Jerzy Frankowski. Absoliut made a substitution. Osvaldas Nutautas replaced Einaras Mažeika. After some careless play in the Not Today defense, Algitas Girkantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre Verdonckt. The Not Today fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre Verdonckt should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt. Pierre Verdonckt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre Verdonckt. 87 minutes into the match, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt. Pierre Verdonckt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu made it 16-0 with a short kick to the right side. Not Today's Pierre Verdonckt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Absoliut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. Absoliut walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
