Peter-Stefan Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Głodne Ghule was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Galeno took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter-Stefan Schmeichel. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Klement Malik got a free kick in the 12th minute. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Głodne Ghule's Marek Czech slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandros Ismael. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Galeno came free, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Czech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marek Czech's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Alexandros Ismael skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner led Głodne Ghule's Marek Czech to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandros Ismael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Ismael made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Lucas Gilchrist sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Gilchrist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexandros Ismael firmly grabbed it by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Gilchrist. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Peter-Stefan Schmeichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Beltran went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Alexandros Ismael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fridtjof Ferstad went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Olofsson in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Papo to maneuver through the defense. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Fridtjof Ferstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Alexandros Ismael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Głodne Ghule's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
