Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Özkut in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson got control of the ball when Claudio Caniglia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anıl Özkut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Digital Monsterz FC got a corner. Janusze Futbolu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birger Spetz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Birger Spetz made a great header on Digital Monsterz FC's corner, it was just that Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 27th minute Nicolás Tagliafico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Jacobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Anıl Özkut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Janusze Futbolu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Özkut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Nyberg in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Claudio Caniglia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isak Jacobsson. Claudio Caniglia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The throw-in from Amador Gabino in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Janusze Futbolu's Roque Miliano. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when Janusze Futbolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Caniglia made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Anıl Özkut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Digital Monsterz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Anıl Özkut might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anıl Özkut ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Özkut in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Özkut in the 59th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter-Michael Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anıl Özkut's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Digital Monsterz FC's Damazy Polek was substituted for Anıl Özkut. After 65 minutes Janusze Futbolu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birger Spetz who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Birger Spetz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter-Michael Schmeichel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christer Nyberg came free in the 70th minute and tried to tip the ball over Peter-Michael Schmeichel, but to the joy of Janusze Futbolu's supporters the ball went over. Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Ahmet Boran Aktay threw the ball into play from the sideline. Janusze Futbolu's Kapiton Bomba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birger Spetz made a great header on Digital Monsterz FC's corner, it was just that Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute, Claudio Caniglia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isak Jacobsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Polek in the 95th minute of play. The Digital Monsterz FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Digital Monsterz FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
