When Dennis Wanjohi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tatooine Local Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Wanjohi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tatooine Local Club booed when FC Wypyszek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Polkoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tatooine Local Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fredrick Ntalami in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Tatooine Local Club were awarded a corner. Fredrick Ntalami went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the game, Dennis Wanjohi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boguslaw Marut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boguslaw Marut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Wanjiru in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Myles Khayeshe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Marut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Călin Zeciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulus Zihlmann hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Marut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazul Mwaura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, FC Wypyszek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Debkowski to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Joseph Lagat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boguslaw Marut. FC Wypyszek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Lagat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. David Kogo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lucjan Polkoski made the kick off in the second half. Michael Kimutai made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by James Wanjiru. In the 54th minute Călin Zeciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Tatooine Local Club's Fazul Mwaura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Bixente Lizarazu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Wypyszek getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Damazy Puzio hit a great ball. The FC Wypyszek fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when FC Wypyszek's Călin Zeciu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Zeciu in the 77th minute of play forced Tatooine Local Club's goalkeeper Paul Ogot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Polkoski in the 79th minute of play. Anacleto Ederono hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bixente Lizarazu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Călin Zeciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Ogot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 90 minutes of play, Tatooine Local Club's Joseph Lagat made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boguslaw Marut was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Wypyszek's Bixente Lizarazu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, FC Wypyszek's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrick Ntalami came free, but Boguslaw Marut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tatooine Local Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
