An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Lang Liang in the 16th minute of play forced Atletico Kankero's goalkeeper Damiano De Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damiano De Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ma Lang Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Amos Urbani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano De Feo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hortêncio Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Ercole Munno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damiano De Feo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ma Lang Liang. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico Kankero's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Mandrak came free, but Damiano De Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, EDI MZB's Damiano De Feo threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hortêncio Mandrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Dennis Roelfs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano De Feo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. EDI MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ma Lang Liang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EDI MZB made a substitution. Miguel Guerra replaced Éder Passos. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EDI MZB had played much better football throughout.
