Eddie Eklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hannes Finnman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malmo's Håkan Askelöf got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eddie Eklund had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Per-Oskar Ahlstedt from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Per-Oskar Ahlstedts short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Eddie Eklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 16 in the game by Per-Oskar Ahlstedt from a close distance when the talented Eddie Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Semihioo FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Semihioo FC's Hans Jansson got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Malmo's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Borre came free, but Simon Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilgot Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Fanström having to interfere. In the 27th minute Börge Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Fanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Biörkman's late challenge caught a Semihioo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petter Biörkman helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Malmo got a freekick which was hit by Petter Biörkman. Simon Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Brander in the 30th minute of the match. Eddie Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Oskar Ahlstedt's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Hannes Finnman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Per-Oskar Ahlstedt sped through Semihioo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddie Eklund. After 39th play minutes Per-Oskar Ahlstedt shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Eddie Eklund and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Ahlstedt got free with Eddie Eklund in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddie Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Oskar Ahlstedt went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilgot Brander to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Malmo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Matthias Blom hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Eklund. Semihioo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Oskar Ahlstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Per-Oskar Ahlstedt sped through Semihioo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddie Eklund. With an all-out effort, Semihioo FC's Simon Fanström threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vilgot Brander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the match, Malmo's Alex Hultman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Eklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmo's goalkeeper Simon Fanström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Per-Oskar Ahlstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Semihioo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hans Jansson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Eklund was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The Malmo fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd match minute, Malmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Almqvist to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Semihioo FC's Eddie Eklund. Eddie Eklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malmo's Simon Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Malmo from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes of play, Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there!
