In the 24th minute Vilgot Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliyav Arnold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Eklund was a little too slow when Mattanel Menuchin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Börge Skoglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliyav Arnold. Hapoel Soviet FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börge Skoglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Eliyav Arnold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eddie Eklund made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mattanel Menuchin sent off a good shot on target. Arion Gollander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eddie Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Semihioo FC's Magnus Jonasson got a free kick in the 44th minute. Magnus Jonasson's late challenge caught a Hapoel Soviet FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hapoel Soviet FC booed when Semihioo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes in the game Yanai Nathan after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Eddie Eklund. A very good opportunity. The Hapoel Soviet FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Semihioo FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arion Gollander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattanel Menuchin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arion Gollander in the 54th minute of play forced Semihioo FC's goalkeeper Eddie Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arion Gollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Eklund having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Hapoel Soviet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Brander came free, but Eliyav Arnold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magnus Jonasson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hapoel Soviet FC's Arion Gollander tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eddie Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattanel Menuchin in the 69th minute of the match. If Mattanel Menuchin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Imri Shortzberg during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Semihioo FC booed when Hapoel Soviet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imri Shortzberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
