Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manolo Pejuan made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Abousem fk getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Roger Rudberg hit a great ball. Hermelando Cortiguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Karl-Ove Eckegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Arteaga was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 18 minutes, Torbjörn Hökkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abousem fk and the Cedral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivar Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Pejuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist got control of the ball when Hermelando Cortiguera tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cedral booed when Abousem fk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Manolo Pejuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cedral's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolo Pejuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Cedral:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abousem fk:s goal. The referee gave Abousem fk a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simon Josefsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cedral's Paul Arteaga. 1-1. With splendid footwork Manolo Pejuan arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Policarpio Taboada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karl-Ove Eckegren came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Abousem fk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Eckegren couldn't finish the play. When Abousem fk's Kevin Broberg in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cedral's goalie prevented a goal. Kåre Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Paul Arteaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermelando Cortiguera succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 44th playminute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kåre Petersson was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play Abousem fk's Torbjörn Hökkvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Abousem fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Hökkvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Kevin Broberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stanislao Feyjo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislao Feyjo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stanislao Feyjo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Simon Josefsson, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 69th match minute, Abousem fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Broberg to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Pejuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Hermelando Cortiguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 76 played minutes Abousem fk got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Broberg. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abousem fk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lalla Tama was slow to take the kick. During this time Cedral's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Cedral's Criston Menendez got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Cedral's Manolo Pejuan in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abousem fk's goalie prevented a goal. Cedral had won after a very even match.
