Artres's Flavien Cardot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Jansson in the 9th minute of play. Eddie Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Caussade, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mohamed-Ali Wisniewski struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Eddie Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artres. Eddie Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Bonnardel went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flavien Cardot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Finnman in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hannes Finnman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavien Cardot. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Artres's Tom Bonnardel got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Brander in the 42nd minute of play forced Artres's goalkeeper Flavien Cardot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Artres's zone, Hans Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavien Cardot came out of the goal and Hans Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Eddie Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Théophile Chaumet in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 59 in the game by Gilbert Caussade from a close distance when the talented Eddie Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Semihioo FC's players were relieved. Eddie Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Caussade in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Vilgot Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semihioo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Artres got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Lachaume. Gilbert Caussade's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eddie Eklund firmly grabbed it by the left post. 75 minutes into the game, Pierrick Le Moing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Semihioo FC the free kick. After 75 played minutes Artres got a freekick which was hit by Pierrick Le Moing. Vilgot Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artres's Madjid Lachaume managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kristian Rudqvist in the 87 minute of the game. Artres:s Flavien Cardot showed great skill when he stopped Magnus Jonasson:s penalty.
