The crowd rose to their feet as Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Arteaga. That made the score 3-1 after 32 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Per-Oskar Ahlstedt sped through Cedral's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul Arteaga. Cedral's Paul Arteaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Cedral from getting a goal against them. Prudentio Villaciergo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 45th minute, Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.
The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Arteaga was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. If Per-Oskar Ahlstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cedral's zone, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Arteaga came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermelando Cortiguera hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Cedral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermelando Cortiguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Håkan Askelöf hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Arteaga saved Cedral from getting behind. After having played for 84 minutes, Alex Hultman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Hultman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cedral's Paul Arteaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 86th minute of play. Malmo's Alex Hultman got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Arteaga having to interfere. Raebert Carrios hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
