Simon Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Arne Svarstad in the 8th minute of play. Stian Teigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes Kalsvik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Brolin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Harry Brolin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kalsvik's Stian Teigen did a great save. Alex Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Per-Oskar Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Teigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Hultman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. In the 28th minute of the match Håkan Askelöf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stian Teigen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Oskar Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Malmo's Håkan Askelöf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stian Teigen. Stian Teigen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Christer Lee hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Stian Teigen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Harry Brolin sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Malmo's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Hepsø came free, but Simon Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kalsvik's zone, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Teigen came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kalsvik's Eilert Bang got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Oskar Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alex Hultman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Stian Teigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Pilskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Fanström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Arne Svarstad in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Fanström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Malmo's Harry Brolin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stian Teigen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt made a precise shot to the right of Stian Teigen. Kalsvik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of Kalsvik booed when Malmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Arne Svarstad in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Per-Oskar Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Teigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Fanström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Hepsø in the 71st minute. When Alex Hultman came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Malmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Hultman couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stian Teigen. When Harry Brolin fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmo's protests and gave Harry Brolin a yellow card for diving instead. Hauk Aaberg made a great header on Kalsvik's corner, it was just that Malmo's Simon Fanström managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Kalsvik's zone, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Teigen came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stian Teigen. Kalsvik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Oskar Ahlstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malmo had played much better football throughout.
