Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manolo Pejuan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavien Cardot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Pejuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Tom Bonnardel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Bonnardel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Cedral's goalkeeper Paul Arteaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Caussade. Tom Bonnardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Johnny Borg in the 19th minute really tested Paul Arteaga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 21st minute, Tom Bonnardel made a precise shot to the right of Paul Arteaga. Cedral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Tom Bonnardel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paul Arteaga. Tom Bonnardel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Pejuan in the 34th minute of play forced Artres's goalkeeper Flavien Cardot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Artres getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Madjid Lachaume hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Azeari Henestrosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cedral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artres the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cedral's Azeari Henestrosa got a free kick in the 41st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Artres fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! 47 minutes into the game, Hermelando Cortiguera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Flavien Cardot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tom Bonnardel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paul Arteaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Caussade's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Mohamed-Ali Wisniewski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Artres getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Daryl Le Roux hit a great ball. Cedral's Lalla Tama shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Flavien Cardot but with some difficulty. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Azeari Henestrosa with Stanislao Feyjo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hermelando Cortiguera scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavien Cardot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paul Arteaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Caussade in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Cedral's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Bonnardel came free, but Paul Arteaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Mathieu Sirot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedral the free kick. The supporters of Cedral booed when Artres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Sirot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azeari Henestrosa made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Manolo Pejuan. 78 minutes into the match, Artres's goalkeeper Flavien Cardot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermelando Cortiguera. Paul Arteaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Caussade in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Gilbert Caussade made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cedral's Paul Arteaga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Prudentio Villaciergo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cedral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artres the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cedral's Prudentio Villaciergo got a free kick in the 86th minute. It was beautiful to see Artres's Mathieu Sirot in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Policarpio Taboada's late challenge caught a Artres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Policarpio Taboada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Policarpio Taboada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Cedral's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Bonnardel came free, but Paul Arteaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Mohamed-Ali Wisniewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedral the free kick. During the 99th minute of the match Policarpio Taboada completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Policarpio Taboada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Artres were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cedral for a fine match.
