In the 4th minute, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malmo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eddie Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute, Gustav Västlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Brander in the 17th minute of play. Per-Oskar Ahlstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Eklund having to make a save. Semihioo FC's Eddie Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 18th minute of play. Håkan Askelöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Semihioo FC got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Finnman. Axel Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Brander in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Malmo's Gustav Västlund got a free kick in the 39th minute. The Semihioo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malmo were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Vilgot Brander made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Semihioo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alex Hultman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Malmo's Alex Hultman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Eklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Malmo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Petter Biörkman hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Per-Oskar Ahlstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eddie Eklund. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Alex Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Malmo's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Brander came free, but Simon Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Malmo got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Västlund. Eddie Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Semihioo FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nils Hjeltman hit a great ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Per-Oskar Ahlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Semihioo FC's Eddie Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Västlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Eklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustav Västlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Malmo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
