With a little luck, Malmo's Simon Fanström got control of the ball when Ginyo Mechenov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes Galatasaray GS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Brolin who took care of the corner kick. In the 97th minute, Harry Brolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Galatasaray GS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
